Saturn Aura
Saturn welcomes the future with an expanding vehicle lineup that's imaginative and contemporary and the Saturn AURA is a perfect example. We're glad you're interested in learning more about AURA ... the concept sedan from Saturn. Our design studios are a pretty exciting place to be right now and the AURA is evidence of that.

On the outside, we've designed AURA with clean lines and a bold stance. The corners of the vehicle are taillamps. These jewel-like corners coupled with a smooth, flowing body side, give AURA a sophisticated look. The use of high-quality materials combined with precise fit and finish, give AURA the presence of an upscale touring sedan. Shown is a preproduction model. Actual production model may vary. Stay tuned for what's next. While we've spent countless hours crafting dynamic exterior designs that turn heads, the renaissance of Saturn isn't just about what's on the outside ... the modern, rich design continues when you open the door and step in.

On the inside, we've designed AURA with features that embrace technology and creative innovations that engage the senses. The use of high-quality fabrics and leathers combined with new amber-colored interior lighting give AURA a warm and inviting driving environment reminiscent of a European touring sedan.

Saturn ION Quad
The Saturn ION Quad is available in the ION 2, ION 3 and the performance-oriented ION Red Line body styles. The ION 1 sedan has been discontinued for 2006. With the new changes, Saturn ION delivers an even greater level of performance, refinement, comfort and safety.

With a new, powerful engine option, Saturn ION continues to offer an inviting blend of power and fuel efficiency to small-car buyers. The performance-oriented ION Red Line remains in the lineup. New for '06 is an available Enhanced Performance Package on ION 3 models. At the heart of this package is a new 2.4L Ecotec inline four-cylinder engine with variable valve timing (VVT) that delivers an impressive 170 horsepower (127kw) and 162 lb.-ft. (224 Nm) of torque. The Enhanced Performance Package also includes modifications to the suspension to provide a firmer, sport-oriented ride. Valves that control the flow of hydraulic fluid within the suspension struts are modified to provide more resistance, and the stabilizer bar diameter is increased. In addition to the firmer ride, the changes reduced body lean when cornering.

Inside, a redesigned center console/center stack provides additional leg and knee clearance and enhanced fit and appearance around the cupholder area, as well as an additional storage pocket above the radio. New fabric in the ION 2 and 3 and fabric inserts in the Red Line's Recaro seats provide a more contemporary, sleek look that harmonizes with the other interior components. A new family of radios provides an upscale appearance with flush design and chrome accents. All sound systems include an input jack to accommodate portable audio players, and a new digital signal processor provides improved sound quality. Thanks to OnStar, now standard on all models, the ION continues to demonstrate Saturn's commitment to provide excellent customer care with continuous safety.

Saturn SKY
With its combination of dynamic design and agile performance, the 2007 Saturn SKY signals a bold new direction for the Saturn brand. The vehicle's price, however, shows the brand's ongoing commitment to providing solid value to its buyers combined with an industry-standard purchase and ownership experience. The manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for the well-equipped 2007 Sky starts at $23,690 for models with a 5-speed manual transmission, and $24,540 with an optional 5-speed automatic. Both MSRPs include a $575 destination charge.

The SKY, available this spring, is the first vehicle to feature a new look that will inspire the design of future Saturn products. The roadster will be followed this summer by the all-new AURA midsize sedan and Outlook midsize crossover utility late in 2006. These vehicles feature the same, dynamic exterior design theme, with inviting, sophisticated interiors. "The SKY signals a whole new direction for Saturn as we dramatically grow our portfolio," says Jill Lajdziak, Saturn's general manager. "It blends the dynamic new design of our vehicles with a strong value proposition in its segment."

The SKY's exterior features a strong front end that represents the new face of Saturn, with a pronounced fender peak and a bold, chrome bar that carries an integrated Saturn badge. It has a wide, muscular stance with short overhangs and 18-inch wheels pushed to the corners for a true sports car feel. The convertible top folds completely into the rear compartment, and the clamshell hood provides excellent accessibility and reinforces the SKY's sports car character. Halogen projector beam headlamps and foglamps extend the exterior's sophisticated look. The design philosophy is carried through to the SKY's interior, which is driver-focused with integrated controls and displays. Creative use of piano black and chrome finishes combine with available leather seats and technical grains to emphasize richness and precision. Jewel-like detailing on the HVAC and lighting controls is executed with tight fits, highlighting the attention to detail.

The SKY also has the athletic performance to back up its bold styling. It is equipped with a standard 2.4-liter, 177-horsepower Ecotec engine with variable valve timing and a five-speed Aisin manual transmission with a short throw shifter. An available limited slip differential decreases potential wheel slippage, increasing the SKY's performance potential ever further. Other major standard features on the 2007 Sky include:

Four-wheel disc brakes with ABS and dynamic rear proportioning Four-wheel independent short/long arm suspension with coil-over Bilstein monotube shocks Air conditioning Power windows, locks, mirrors and remote keyless entry Dual-stage drive and passenger airbags with Passenger Sensing System AM/FM/CD Stereo with auxiliary input jack for use with portable audio players

The 2007 Saturn SKY will be built at GM's Wilmington, Delaware, assembly facility.

Saturn Vue Red Line
The redesigned 2006 Saturn Vue Red Line combines bold new styling and proven performance with surprising fuel economy and a lower price. The compact SUV will make its first public appearance at the 2005 California International Auto Show in Anaheim, October 5-9.

The Vue Red Line's new look starts with a unique front grille that is inspired by the highly acclaimed 2007 Saturn Sky roadster and the Saturn Aura sedan concept. The vehicle's chrome bar and integrated jeweled Saturn badge are hallmarks of the brand's new design direction. The distinctive grille is matched with a new fascias and body-color 360-degree ground effects for a sleek, streamlined look.

Distinctive interior features for the new Vue Red Line include ebony leather-appointed seats with suede fabric inserts; ebony carpet and safety belts; six-way power driver seat adjuster and a unique instrument cluster faceplate and metallic foot pedals. Another unique item on the new Vue Red Line is ambient lower lighting that illuminates the front and rear foot well areas. The light can be changed from "Cool Blue" to "Warm Amber" with a switch located on the center stack. In addition, the Red Line model Vue benefits from the interior enhancements made to the entire Vue lineup for 2006, including a redesigned center stack, new center storage console, steering wheel with audio controls and a new family of upgraded radios.

The Vue Red Line comes standard with the 3.5L V-6, 250-horsepower engine. The V-6 front-wheel drive Vue also delivers a class-leading 28 miles per gallon on the highway. Additionally, the vehicle achieves an ultra-low emission vehicle (ULEV) rating. The performance tuned Vue's stiffened suspension is lowered more than one inch (26 mm) and the vehicle rides on aggressively styled 18-inch aluminum wheels with P245/50R18 performance tires, a combination that contributes both to sportier handling and a "slammed" appearance. The electric power steering is calibrated for a sporty feel. The Vue Red Line is available in both front- and all-wheel drive.

The 2006 Vue Red Line with front-wheel drive will carry a suggested retail price of $24,485, down $1,240 for a similarly equipped 2005 model year vehicle. The restyled Vue is the latest vehicle to join Saturn's expanding product portfolio. It will be followed next year by the Saturn Sky roadster, Vue Green Line Hybrid, Aura midsize sedan and Outlook crossover mid-utility.

The Relay is an important product in Saturn's current portfolio offering vehicles that fill the needs of diverse customers. For 2006, Saturn adds more power and safety features to its SUV-inspired, seven-passenger Relay.
